Terroir: Schist soils in Cabrerolles (Faugères appellation area), Vin de France.
Grape varieties: Cinsault (69 years old) 50%, Grenache (69 years old) 50%; yield: 18 hl/ha.
Vinification: Destemmed, maceration for 21 days; aged in sandstone jar for 9 months.
Aromatics: Very characteristic of Faugères — thyme, strawberry, rose, very intense; broad, peppery palate with fruit-driven expression and very long finish...
