Forever and Ever Child is a natural wine crafted by Anders Frederik Steen, in the Ardeche region in France. This sparkling Pet Nat wine is made with Syrah grapes, which are sourced from his neighbours Domaine du Mazel.

This Rose Pet Nat really hits the spot with it's liveliness that seriously packs a punch. It's herbacious with a cherry bon bon element to it alongside creamy vanilla touches. A perfect Aperetif wine!

Anders Frederik Steen notes on "Forever and Ever Child"

2023 is a vintage that fermented faster than any vintage we’ve ever seen. Most white wines finished the fermentation, before we had even started harvesting the reds. This sparkling rosé is a 12 hours direct press of Syrah. The following fermentation, for only a few days, took place in a fiberglass cuve and from there it went into bottles. In bottles the fermentation lucky slowed down and finished by creating the bubbles over winter. 

We have left this Pétillant Naturel on its lees for a little more than a year, which add a little bit of the bitterness. A bitterness that you normally find in wines with longer élevage in barrels. This brings us a less expressive and young fruits with smaller and more delicate bubbles. We have made the dégorgement in fall of 2024 just before the release.

Anders Frederik Steen is a true legend in the natural wine scene, and his winemaking philosophy is simple: “Nothing added. Nothing taken away.” He crafts his wines in the Ardèche region of France with his partner Anne Bruun Blauert, and what's unique is that none of his wines are ever made the same way twice—hence, the many different labels, each inspired by song lyrics or poetry.
Steen uses an old press with a slow, gentle technique and brings a creative, experimental approach to his wines. Expect juicy flavors, oxidative notes, complex layers, and some pretty unique grape blends depending on the bottle. Since the wines change with every vintage, you’re guaranteed never to taste the same wine twice. With high demand and a loyal following, his wines are becoming highly collectible, selling out fast, so grab them while you can!
