Chora Rosso by L'acino, is a lovely Italian red made from Magliocco grapes, soft and rounded with a tingly tannic structure, yet still light. This wine comes from the very hot region of Sourthern region of Calabria, where there is not much Natural Wine made, to be fair. Perfect with pizza and pasta.

Production Details: Chora Rosso is a red wine from L'Acino in Emilia-Romagna made from a blend of local red grapes. Fermentation happens with native yeasts for an extended period on the skins — typically 4 to 6 weeks. The wine then ages in large wooden vessels, building complexity and texture without heavy oak influence. Natural winemaking throughout.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried the 2021 vintage of Chora Rosso by L'Acino, but we hear it has notes of red cherry, earth, spice, herbs, and considerable tannin structure from extended maceration.
