L'Acino wine

L'Acino is a small scale natural wine estate from the very hot Calabria sourthern region in Italy, which is quite unusual in the world of natural wine as there are not too many producers making wine naturally in Calabria.

Founded by Dino Briglio in 2006, the estate now farms 10 hectares of land and leases 5 hectares, which includes grapes like Mantonico, Magliocco, Malvasia and Aglianico. We really like the L'Acino "Chora Rosso" which is an ideal red wine for pizza, made with the Magliocco grape.
