Lyr is a very special sparkling wine crafted by Porta del Vento, in the Sicily region in Italy.

This sparkling wine is made with red Perricone grapes, so this is a Blanc de Noir - and actually this is the FIRST sparkling wine made in this traditional method with Perricone !

This is absolutely divine, with notes of Marzipan and Fennel.

NATURAL WINES BY PORTA DEL VENTO

Porta Del Vento (meaning "door of the wind") is a natural wine estate located high up in the Camporeale region of Sicily, near Palermo. Marco Sferlazzo, the winemaker, made a bold switch to winemaking in 2006 after spending over 20 years as a pharmacist. It’s hard to believe he wasn’t born into a winemaking family, though, given how exceptional his wines are.
While Marco’s range includes serious bottles like the ARCAI Anfora Rosso and Trebbi (made from Trebbiano), his more playful side shows through with the VORIA pet nats, which offer fantastic value and impress with their easy-drinking charm. Watch our video here
