'L'Esquisse' is a natural wine crafted by Champagne Moussé, in the Champagne region in France. This sparkling wine is made with a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30%  Pinot Meunier grapes.

L’Esquisse = a sketch

The purpose of L’Esquisse is to bring together the new and young plots of the estate.

As this wine is made to be fruity and tasted quite young, we add a significant proportion of tailles, which makes L’Esquisse very easy drinking.

TERROIR AND SOILS
Cuisles, Jonquery, Châtillon-sur-Marne.

90% of the soils are composed of green clays over limestone marls.

VINIFICATION

Base: 70% of 2020 and 30% of 2021

  • Grapes hand-picked in market gardening crates
  • Malolactic fermentation
  • Use of homemade mine sulphites
  • Sugar added at disgorging: to be determined

AGEING
18 months on average
